The Timberwolves gained national appeal when they selected Karl-Anthony Towns first overall in the NBA Draft and they gained a ton of local appeal when they traded back into the first round to get former Apple Valley and Duke star Tyus Jones.
Jones stayed in Minneapolis to watch the draft with family friends, but today he was united with Towns, who flew into the Twin Cities before the two were paraded through the Minneapolis skyway before being introduced during a press conference.
