The Minnesota Vikings will unveil their new Nike uniforms tomorrow at the 2013 NFL Draft party at Mall of America Field.
While the team wanted to keep it an absolute secret what they’ll look like — pictures of the uniforms were leaked on the web on Tuesday:
That’s it. Purple home pants. A streamlined font for the numbers, and well, that’s about it.
What these things would ultimately look like was the subject of speculation for a few months — with creative types dreaming up their own version of how the Purple should present themselves during games.
Here’s a few of the best rejects we could find, in no particular order:
1) Too yellow.
2) Way too yellow.
3) Too gold.
4) Way too gold.
5) Too modern.
6) Too inspired by the History Channel’s “Vikings.”
