Mind. Body. Soul.
Those are the three topics of conversation Monday Morning Quarterback’s Peter King had in a 50-minute phone call with Vikings running back Adrian Peterson.
The quickie version of the story:
Mind
Peterson is focused on winning a Super Bowl and breaking records.
“We are going to have a good chance to win it this year—win everything,” Peterson said of the Vikings’ chances this coming season. “Sit back and watch. Sit back and watch. You can be like, ‘I thought you guys were at least a couple of years away.’ Nope. You sit back and watch, this year.”
Per Vegas Insider, the Vikings have 18 to 1 odds to win the Super Bowl.

Body
He’s working out 3 1/2 to 5 hours a day. What else is there to know, that’s freaky.
Soul
His heart remains with his hometown of Palestine, Texas, where six people recently died in flash flooding. Peterson donated $100,000 to flood relief and he told MMQB that he’ll be working in the city this week.
Peterson has partnered with the Salvation Army and people can donate by texting “AP28” to 51555.
