Vikings running back Adrian Peterson was limited in practice Thursday and missed practice Friday before returning Saturday with a tight hamstring.
His status was in question for Monday in New York against the Giants, but he put those doubts to rest after practice Saturday, saying he’ll definitely play in the Vikings’ Monday Night Football clash.
Matt Kalil we’re not so sure about.
The Vikings’ starting left tackle is listed as questionable on their final injury report, and missed practice yesterday with a back injury.
Minnesota’s offensive line has been one of their weakest areas this year, and that’s WITH everyone healthy, missing Kalil would be a tough blow to deal with.
Other notes from the injury report have cornerback A.J. Jefferson doubtful for Monday and Xavier Rhodes probable after leaving the Carolina game with a sprained ankle. Kicker Blair Walsh is probable with a hamstring, he played last week but did not handle kickoff duties after being questionable with the same hamstring injury.
