The Minnesota Vikings have activated All-Pro running back Adrian Peterson from the physically unable to perform list. The Pioneer Press reports he took part in the Sunday morning walk-through, but he won’t be able to put on full pads until Tuesday. The newspaper notes Peterson is still not cleared to play in a live game or take a hit during practice.
Last week, Peterson says he’s ready to get hit after suffering a torn ACL and MCL against the Washington Redskins on Dec. 24, 2011.
Peterson has said he’s confident that he’ll be ready for the Vikings’ season opener September 9th against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
