Minnesota Vikings’ running back Adrian Peterson sat out of practice Friday as a precaution. Coach Leslie Frazier gave Peterson the day to get treatment after he felt soreness in his ankle after Wednesday’s practice. Frazier says he should be “fresher” for Sunday against Seattle.
Peterson currently leads the NFL with 775 rushing yards.
Wide receiver Percy Harvin returned to the practice field Friday after missing Thursday’s practice to tend to a family matter. Harvin is also expected to play Sunday.
Safety Mistral Raymond is making progress after he missed five games due to a dislocated ankle. Frazier still plans on getting Raymond some playing time against the Seahawks.
