Adrian Peterson tells ESPN that he’s feeling confident and healthy after off-season sports hernia surgery.
“I’m strong. My speed is there. I’m pretty much 100 percent,” he said at Wednesday’s practice in Eden Prairie.
Peterson also says it’s possible for him to reach his goal of 2,500 yards and win the Super Bowl next season.
“The most important is the Super Bowl ring. That 25 (hundred)…that can come at anytime. With the guys I have in front of me and the team we are building…with the additions that we have made with some key players — Greg Jennings and some other guys we’ve brought in and drafted. So the 25 (hundred)…I’ll get that, but most importantly the championship is number one.”
