Injured Vikings star Percy Harvin announced on Twitter Saturday that he was undergoing minor surgery.
Harvin did not specify what the surgery was for, although some sports outlets including the Pioneer Press alluded to Harvin’s ankle injury.
“Having minor surgery today, keep me in your prayers please!” Harvin tweeted.
The wide receiver and return specialist was put on injured reserve by the Vikings earlier this month after missing four weeks with a torn ligament in his left ankle.
A day after being placed on injury reserve, Harvin vowed that he will come back next season “stronger and better than ever.”
The Vikings meanwhile, are in St. Louis Sunday to take on the Rams.
