The Twins prevented a series sweep by the Brewers Sunday with a 2-0 win at Target Field, led by starter Mike Pelfrey who pitched eight scoreless innings.
The Brewers had defeated the Twins in the first two games of the weekend series, as the AL Central Division leaders faltered against Milwaukee, which is at the bottom of its division.
Pelfrey is on a roll, posting a 0.96 ERA in 28 innings over four starts, MLB.com reports.
