The Timberwolves could use Nikola Pekovic’s size when they meet the Lakers Friday night at Target Center. He’s missed the last two games with a foot injury, but returned to practiced Thursday and expects to play against L.A. The bad news is that J.J. Barea missed practiced and won’t play in the game.
