The only Minnesota Vikings representative at the 2014 Pro Bowl entering Thursday was running back Adrian Peterson, who spent the night in New Orleans watching his Alma mater, Oklahoma, take on Alabama in the Sugar Bowl.
Late Thursday, Peterson got some company.

Wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson, who set four Vikings records in Minnesota’s last game of the season against Detroit, led the NFL in average kick return yardage, and will become the eighth receiver on the Pro Bowl roster.
He replaces Pittsburgh wide receiver Antonio Brown.
The Pro Bowl selections, rather than being separated via conference as in years past, will be drafted into two teams four days prior to the Jan. 26 game.
