A day after the NHL announced a tentative agreement had been reached on a new collective bargaining agreement, 18 Minnesota Wild players were at the Xcel Energy Center on Monday for an informal practice. Newcomes Zach Parise and Ryan Suter, wearing Wild sweaters on the ice for the first time, were among the players in attendance.
After the practice Parise and Suter apologized to the fans for having to wait through the lockout. Parise said they “want to put a great product on the ice and slowly earn their trust back.”
Pierre Marc-Bouchard is still unsure if he’ll be ready for the season opener, but he has been free of concussion symptoms for a few weeks.
