The injury Wild star Zach Parise suffered Thursday night doesn’t appear to be serious, but it will keep him out the next couple of games, Wild coach Mike Yeo said Friday.
Parise suffered a lower-body injury in Minnesota’s 3-2 home loss when he was check hard from behind by Nashville’s James Neal. Parise appeared to favor his left knee after the hit. He returned to the game briefly before going back to the locker room for good.
Yeo: Parise had an appointment today, waiting to hear back on that. We can rule him out of the next couple of games. #mnwild

Zach Parise out at least the next couple of games. Mike Yeo wouldn't provide a timeline. Doesn't believe it's week-to-week at this point.

The Wild host defending Eastern Conference champion Tampa Bay on Saturday and then play host to Winnipeg on Tuesday, so the earliest Parise could return appears to be a Nov. 12 game at Carolina.
Parise has 7 goals and 9 points in 12 games this season.
