The Minnesota Wild are no longer unbeaten on their home ice. They fell to the Nashville Predators 3-2 Thursday night at the Xcel Energy Center.
1. Parise knocked out early

The Wild were dealt a big blow early, when Zach Parise was knocked out on a hit up against the boards in the first period Thursday night.
Minnesota was already short-handed coming into the game with injuries to Justin Fontaine and Tyler Graovac, each of whom could miss up to six weeks.

There is no word on how long Parise will be out.
2. Power play keeps Minnesota in it
The Wild continued to play well with an extra attacker, scoring two more power play goals against the Predators.
The first came on a goal from Marco Scandella with both Ryan Suter and Mikko Koivu assisting.

3. Late goals hurt the Wild
Nashville scored a pair of third period goals. The first was just 12 seconds into the third, while the other was a tough one for Wild goaltender Devan Dubnyk to take.
