The last thing the Minnesota Wild need is their No. 1 goalie and best overall player to go down with injuries, but that’s what happened Sunday when Devan Dubnyk and Zach Parise had to leave practice after getting hurt.
According to the Star Tribune, Dubnyk took a puck off his wrist that required stitches and Parise limped off the ice a short time later. Parise is expected to play in Monday’s home game against the Detroit Red Wings, but Dubnyk is out, although head coach Mike Yeo said the plan was to play Kuemper anyway.

Backup goalie Darcy Kuemper, who is 3-0-0 in his last three starts while allowing only three goals on 86 shots, will get the start in goal.
