The Minnesota Wild fell to the Florida Panthers on Saturday night 2-1 in overtime. The loss for the Wild happened in a shootout in Florida again. The Wild will get a shootout point.
Florida’s Jonathan Huberdeau and Brad Boyes each made their shots during the shoot out, while Minnesota’s Zach Parise and Mikko Koivu were both turned away.
Jonas Brodin gave the Wild a 1-0 lead in the second period. He was assisted by Dany Heatley and Mikael Granlund.
Aleksander Barkov tipped in a goal at the 6:49 mark in the third period to force overtime.
Josh Harding stopped 21 of the 22 shots he faced in net for the Wild.
