Jonathan Garvin’s 24th birthday will certainly be one to forget.
Three hours after the Packers social media team wished Garvin a happy birthday on Twitter (or X, whatever it’s called now), he was cut by the organization that drafted him.

Garvin, a seventh-round pick out of the University of Miami in 2020, wasn’t a big contributor over the past three seasons, totaling just one-and-a-half sacks. And sure, he apparently “skipped” most of Green Bay’s offseason program, but getting cut on your birthday is rough.
Or maybe not? Garvin is now free to sign anywhere he pleases. Maybe this was the best birthday gift of his life…
