First, new Vikings wide receiver and former Packer standout Greg Jennings jumped on QB Aaron Rodgers for being “a guy that creates that spotlight for himself”.
Now, retired Green Bay wideout Donald Driver is speaking out on the subject.
This from ESPN Radio’s Mike and Mike in the Morning when Driver was asked to speak on the Rodgers-Jennings conflict: “Sometimes you ask Aaron to take the pressure off those guys so we don’t look bad. He didn’t want to do that. He felt like if you did something bad, you do it. That’s the difference. You want that leadership. I think sometimes you may not feel like you got it. You have to earn that respect at the end of the day.”

Rodgers, who Jennings just refers to as “12”, has deflected criticism and stated that “people taking shots at me who aren’t relevant to this team, and to this locker room, doesn’t mean a whole lot to me.”
The 2013 version of the border battle is getting interesting, and the two teams haven’t even met yet!
