Pro Football Focus put together its list of the top 101 players in the NFL right now. Four Vikings, five Packers, two Bears and one Lion made the list.
Vikings
- 29. Harrison Smith – S
- 34. Anthony Barr – LB
- 78. Adrian Peterson – RB
- 91. Linval Joseph – DT
Smith just got paid like he’s the best safety in the NFL, but Barr’s position on this list might surprise some. PFF says: “If Luke Kuechly is the best off-the-ball linebacker in football, Barr is one of a number of players with a claim to be the next best.”
As for Peterson, the writer of the list says he’s rated lower because of fumbling issues and his lack of ability to be much of a factor in passing situations.
