Former Green Bay Packers running back Ahman Green is being held in a Wisconsin jail on suspicion of felony child abuse, TMZ Sports reports.
Brown County Jail records say Green is facing possible charges of intentionally harming a child. According to the Green Bay Press-Gazette, Green was arrested at 11:30 p.m. Sunday at his home. He’s being held without bond – no further details were provided.
Green has not been charged with a crime at this point.
The 40-year-old is Green Bay’s all-time leading rusher with 8,322 yards (9,205 for his career). He played for the Packers from 2000-06 and retired with the Packers in 2009.
