With the NHL trade deadline ready to strike at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, the Minnesota Wild has yet to make a move.
General manager Chuck Fletcher says he won’t force any trades.
“Like anybody, if there’s an obvious upgrade, we’ll look at it,” Fletcher told the Pioneer Press. “We like our team, we like our mix, and we’re certainly prepared to play the rest of the season with this group.”
Minnesota was rumored to be interested in San Jose forward Ryane Clowe, but he has reportedly been traded to the New York Rangers.
Note: The Wild signed its 2012 seventh round draft choice, center Tyler Graovac on Wednesday.
