The NHL players’ association sent its latest counteroffer to the NHL as the lockout dragged into day 109 on Wednesday. League commissioner Gary Bettman says a deal on a new Collective Bargaining Agreement needs to be reached by January 11 or the entire season will be cancelled.
The latest offer resulted in the two sides resuming negotiations. ESPN’s Pierre LeBrun posted this interesting tweet.
