Believe or not, the Vikings are 2-1-1 in the last month. They have wins over Washington and Chicago, a loss at Seattle and a tie at Green Bay.

CBS SPORTS: No. 25 – Maybe Matt Cassel should have been playing all along. It’s too little too late for this team.
ESPN: No. 28 – Even loading the box couldn’t stop Adrian Peterson on Sunday. He rushed for more yards (147) against at least eight defenders than he had total rushing yards in any game this season.
YAHOO! SPORTS: No. 28 – It’s pretty apparent Josh Freeman has done something to totally turn that coaching staff and/or front office off to him. Otherwise the whole situation makes no sense.
NFL.COM: No. 27 – The only thing worse than the 15-yard facemask penalty by Rhett Ellison that wiped Blair Walsh’s would-be winning kick off the board Sunday had to be Matt Cassel’s apparent mustache. That thing looks like it belongs in a mini truck. But we digress. Heckuva win by the Vikings, who didn’t let adversity rule the day. Of course, that’s easy to do when Adrian Peterson runs the rock 35 times for 211 yards.
PRO FOOTBALL TALK: No. 27 – Does knocking Josh McCown out of the 2013 playoffs make up for McCown knocking the Vikings out of the 2003 playoffs?
