This week we can safely say, marks a new low for the year.
ST. LOUIS 42, CHICAGO 21: With Jay Cutler still missing, Josh McCown did a solid job filling in at quarterback for the Bears, but the defense failed them, giving up four touchdowns to the Rams offense with their defense adding a fifth late.
McCown threw for 352 yards and two touchdowns but Chicago turned the ball over three times. Combine that with 258 rushing yards for St. Louis, and it equals a fifth Chicago loss.
Luckily for the Bears, Detroit found themselves on upset alert as well.
TAMPA BAY 24, DETROIT 21: The Lions are in danger of pulling the old fall apart late in the season trick.
They’ve made the playoffs just once this millennium, and Sunday is a prime example of why, with the lowly Bucs ruining Detroit’s chance of taking the division lead by themselves.
Matt Stafford had thrown just eight interceptions all year, but threw half that many Sunday, the last of which buried the Lions chances deep in Tampa Bay territory.
The Bucs got two touchdowns from Mike Glennon, both to Tiquan Underwood, and Tampa got their third win of the season.
