It was a wet and wild weekend in the NFL, with the East Coast taking a pounding by a massive snowstorm that made many games glorified slopfests.

This week, that storm bit two of the division’s teams in the rear end, but at least it was good television.
PHILADELPHIA 34, DETROIT 20: Detroit was likely the team most affected by the conditions, as they fumbled six times in the first 18 minutes of their loss to Philadelphia, and seven times overall.
The Eagles’ LeSean McCoy was not deterred by the snow, rushing for 217 yards and two touchdowns, while Lions starting running back Reggie Bush didn’t make it to game time, as he aggravated a calf injury in warmups and did not play.
The loss is the third for Detroit in their last four games, as they continue to struggle to put the division away.
Here’s a few of the moving pictures from a game that featured six two-point conversion attempts as teams avoided kicking in the white-out at all costs.
GREEN BAY 22, ATLANTA 21: Conditions were significantly better in Green Bay, though very cold, and the Packers found a way to snap their five-game winless streak against a floundering Atlanta squad.
Matt Flynn got the start for the Packers, as Aaron Rodgers missed his sixth game with a fractured collarbone, and completed 24-of-32 passes for 258 yards and a go-ahead touchdown with 12 minutes left.
While the highlight of the game was turned in by Atlanta linebacker Sean Weatherspoon (below), Green Bay kept their playoff hopes alive with the win, as they now sit just a half-game out of first place.
BEARS 45 DALLAS 28: The Cowboys were simply no match for Josh McCown, Alshon Jeffery and the Bears.
On a frigid Chicago night, McCown put up five total touchdowns and 348 yards through the air in a 45-28 victory.
Matt Forte racked up 175 total yards while scoring once, and the end of the first half saw the highlight of the night, with Jeffery pulling in this picturesque TD in the corner of the end zone.
That’s good stuff.

Still plenty to be decided in the NFC North, and plenty of great (or not-so-great judging by the teams in it) football ahead to settle the logjam at the top of the division.
