Still think Adrian Peterson has lost a step at 30-years-old?
Despite leading the NFL in rushing and back-to-back 100 yard weeks, there were those who still believe that Peterson still isn’t quite back to the form that he used to be.
After 100-yard performances against Detroit and San Diego, NFL.com writer Chris Wessling, said the only question remaining for Peterson was if he still had the ability to find that “famed fifth gear” that allowed him to run away from opposing defensive backs.
Well, he got his answer last Sunday in Denver.

According to Next Gen Stats, Peterson reached 21.89 mph on his 48-yard touchdown run against Denver last Sunday.
Wessling:
“It’s exactly the kind of back-breaking spring Peterson pulled off in routine fashion three years ago, gashing stacked boxes en route to the greatest 10-game stretch (1,598 rushing) in NFL history.”
