The Minnesota Twins made a string of roster moves on Friday afternoon. With two pitchers going on the disabled list and Kyle Gibson ready to come off, the Twins announced they will call up prospect J.T. Chargois.
ROSTER MOVES: @Twins place Phil Hughes (knee) & Trevor May (back) on DL. Reinstate Kyle Gibson from DL & recall J.T. Chargois from AAA.

Chargois has been a lights out reliever at New Britain and Rochester this year. After being promoted to Rochester in May, he stuck out 41 percent of batters he faced (21 of 48) and has a 0.73 ERA.
The 25 year old has a fastball in the triple digits and two breaking balls that he can throw for the strikes.
Chargois provides a much-needed weapon for a team that’s been among the league’s worst in strikeout percentage over the last few seasons.
Twins calling up reliever J.T. Chargois and his triple-digit fastball. I rated him as their #17 prospect this year. 34/9 K/BB in 24 innings.
