The Major League Baseball season is fast-approaching and it will feel even more real when TwinsFest kicks off Friday afternoon and runs through the weekend.
Tickets at the door cost $20 for adults and $10 for kids ages 14 and younger. Doors are open to fans looking for autographs and memorabilia from 4-9:30 p.m. today, 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday, and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday.
In addition to the autographs, fans can purchase tickets to the April 7 Home Opener against the Oakland Athletics beginning at 4 p.m. today. Here’s the full autograph lineup, featuring past and present players for the entire weekend. Today’s schedule is pictured below.
The autographs are the marquee attraction, but there are a bevy of other opportunities to amplify the fan experience. The event also has photo opportunities with players, grab bags, live and silent auctions, a batting cage to use, sports collectables and much more. Fans will also have a chance to see a lot of Target Field, according to the Star Tribune.
“People are going to have access to a lot of areas of the ballpark that most of them have probably never seen, from the clubhouse to the suites,” said Kevin Smith, the team’s senior director of corporate communications. “If you’ve sat in the left-field bleacher for three years and wondered what’s in the Metropolitan Club, or where the batting cages are, you can walk around and see for yourself. It’s pretty neat.”
