The new head coach decided the best possible way to do that is a series of blogs during the offseason answering some FAQs and giving personnel updates on where every player on the roster stands.
His social media prowess and attempt to connect with fans is a stark contrast to the more old school, private ways of former head coach Tubby Smith.
Pitino used Twitter at his former employer, Florida International University, to promote the program and share ideas. One of those came to fruition after he left, and it is quite the sight.
