The highly-anticipated Netflix series “Quarterback” will be available July 12 and the streaming service increased the hype on Wednesday by releasing a teaser trailer featuring Kirk Cousins, Patrick Mahomes and Marcus Mariota.

The series gives an all access view of the three quarterbacks’ lives during the 2022 NFL season, including everything from game days, practices, training sessions, and their off-the-field lives that take viewers inside their homes with their families.
“This is about as close as they’ll ever get to seeing what it’s like to being a quarterback in this league,” Cousins says, in a season where the Vikings went 13-4.
Later in the trailer, Cousins is shown flat on his back, surrounded by Minnesota’s athletic trainers following a play against the Washington Commanders. Despite being in discomfort, his only focus is if the Vikings scored on the play.
“Did we score? Oh, I would’ve gotten up,” he says after finding out they didn’t score.
The series will also provide a closer look at Cousins’s alter ego, Kirko Chainz, and examine his fashion sense, which his wife calls “Dad Style.”
How good will the series be? According to Jeff Anderson, chief communications officer for the Vikings, it’s going to be “excellent.”
Pretty confident we can promise this will be an excellent series for Vikings fans. https://t.co/uwvt0DmQ1L
