The NBA has thrown out the “home” and “road” uniform designations and replaced it with a way more exciting rule.
Beginning with the 2017-18 season, home teams will be allowed to choose one of four uniform options. Once selected, road teams can choose a contrasting option among their four uniform styles.

Yes. Every team in the league will have four uniform options. It’s part of Nike’s first year as the official apparel provider of the NBA. The two main editions are “The Association Edition” and “The Icon Edition” will be unveiled this summer.
The Association Edition: “Pays homage to the league, the most exclusive basketball club in the world.”
The Icon Edition: “Represents the rich heritage and iconic identity of each NBA franchise.”
The other two choices will be uniforms “inspired by the athlete’s mindset” and one “inspired by the community.” These two will be unveiled in the coming months, Nikes says.
We’ll get back at you when the new styles are unveiled. Can’t wait!
