If the Wolves are looking for shooters/guard help, their draft dream scenario might be the mock draft Yahoo! Sports has, where Buddy Hield, Jamal Murray and Kris Dunn are still on the board when the Wolves go on the clock at No. 5.
With that in mind, here are five realistic draft possibilities for the Wolves.
1. Trade the pick
What if Dunn, perhaps the best point guard in the draft, is on the board and someone calls the Wolves about trading for the pick? Beat writer Jerry Zgoda says that’s a question the Wolves might have to deal with.
Don't forget: Being 5th still could give Wolves' currency if PG-seeking team wants to move up and Dunn still is on board

With draft order shaking out as it did, top candidates for Wolves at 5 are Hield, Dunn, Ellenson. My best bet? They trade the pick

And if they don’t want to trade out of that spot …
2. Jamal Murray, G, Kentucky
FOX Sports says Murray is “a dead-eye shooter who will space the floor and complement Towns and Wiggins perfectly.” The big question is whether he’ll be available, as a lot of mocks have him going top three.

3. Henry Ellenson, F/C, Marquette
The little, bigger brother of ex-Gopher basketball player Wally Ellenson is the pick, per Sports Illustrated, saying he’s “got the range and skills to be a perfect four next to Karl-Anthony Towns.”

4. Kris Dunn, PG, Providence
From what ESPN’s Chad Ford gathered at last week’s NBA Combine, he thinks the Wolves might be “leaning” towards drafting Dunn if he’s on the board. Would the Wolves stick with Dunn and Rubio?

5. Buddy Hield, G, Oklahoma
NBA.com’s Scott Cooper knows that “upgrading the 3-point game is a Minnesota priority,” and there’s not a more NBA-ready shooter in the draft than Hield. Draft Express thinks Hield will be on the board at No. 5.
