Miguel Sano gobbled up a bouncer to third and stepped on the bag, fired to second and Brian Dozier’s relay to Joe Mauer beat Jefry Marte to first base.
It was the first triple play by the Twins since May 27, 2006. The Twins turned two triple plays in one game at Fenway Park in 1990.
