For the second game in a row the Twins found themselves dead in the water only to mount an incredible comeback.
Trailing 8-0 after four innings, the Twins score two runs in the fifth, two in the sixth and four more in the seventh to the game the 8-8.

Thursday’s comeback is more impressive than Wednesday’s comeback in which the Twins trailed the Royals 9-0 before making it a 9-8 game that they wound up losing 11-8.
Unfortunately, Addison Reed’s subpar season out of the bullpen continued and he immediately served up a solo homer to Francisco Lindor to give Cleveland a 9-8 lead in the eighth.
Lindor went 4-for-5 with two homers and two doubles to pace Cleveland.
The largest come-from-behind win in Twins history is seven runs, set in May of 2000.
The loss drops the Twins to 6 1/2 games behind the first-place Indians.
