If Eddie Rosario plays anywhere near the level he’s playing at the World Baseball Classic, the Twins are going to be really pleased.
Rosario, starting in right field for Puerto Rico, showed off his rocket arm by gunning down Jean Segura at home plate during Tuesday’s WBC game against the Dominican Republic.

Rosario went 1-for-2 with a double, RBI and a walk to help Puerto Rico win, 3-1. Twins starting pitcher Hector Santiago earned the win with 2 innings of scoreless relief. Jose Berrios also plays for Puerto Rico.
Through three games at the WBC, Rosario is hitting .583 (6-for-11) with 2 doubles, a triple, 3 RBI and 2 runs.
Team USA is in action Wednesday in Round 2 pool play against Venezuela.
