Earlier this season, Miguel Sano became the second player ever to hit a ball into the “CATCH” seats above the batter’s eye in center field at Target Field.
On Friday night, Sano hit one just left of that area, but still deep into the second deck in left-center field as the Twins killed the Diamondbacks 10-3.

The Twins estimated that one at 452 feet while Statcast had it at 440.
Then he did it again with an even more monstrous smash into the third deck in left. Statcast measured this one at 469 feet and the Twins estimated it at 474.
(Video on the second HR still to come).
Going off the Twins’ estimates, Sano hit 926 feet worth of homers. If Statcast is more accurate, Sano racked up 909 feet of long balls.
The Twins must have named it the Home Run Porch with Miguel Sano in mind. 110 mph, 469 feet. Upper deck. His longest tracked by Statcast. pic.twitter.com/jQooFlg2oN

Sano’s first homer landed just to the left of the 483-foot blast Kennys Vargas hit back on June 20.
Sano is up to 28 homers on the season.
Friday night was a homer-fest for the Twins. Brian Dozier, Byron Buxton (inside-the-park), Eduardo Escobar and Max Kepler also homered.
