Gophers football coach P.J. Fleck is all about living to the max academically, athletically, socially and spiritually. All day, every day.
Fleck exemplified his insistent message by surprising redshirt senior kicker Justin Jeunemann with a scholarship. He did it with the help of a special guest during a team meeting. Check it out.
The "Row The Boat" Culture is all about serving & giving!! Congrats to @JustinJuenemann on EARNING his scholarship!! https://t.co/fguiiyt5tY

The special guest was a boy, Kyle, from the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital, who said he’s received “a lot” of visits from Juenemann.
“I’ve never seen anybody serve and give more than that guy, who is not a star player, who hasn’t played, where his face is recognizable,” Fleck said of Juenemann. “He could easily not do it and nobody would ever say anything. All he does is continue to keep his oar in his water, live that holistic life academically, athletically, socially and spiritually. You’re sitting here looking at two examples of what our culture can do. What we can do for other people. What other people can do for us and what we can do for them. Very, very powerful.”
