It didn’t count as an out, but the outfield wall at Target Field caught a ball hit by Brian Dozier.
It happened in the bottom of the first inning when Dozier’s deep drive to center field got stuck between pads on the wall. He missed a home run by inches.
We can honestly say we’ve never seen anything like it before.
