The Vikings are still two NFL seasons away from moving into their new stadium, which is under construction on the former location of the Metrodome, but ticket sales are moving quickly.
The Vikings said through April over $30 million in Stadium Builder’s Licenses have been sold. That equals nearly 6,500 seats. The team says both the Field Club and the Valhalla Club are nearly sold out and interest in the Vikings Club and Fire & Ice Clubs are also very strong.
Those pricey super premium seats in the new Vikings stadium that MN was complaining about? They're already sold out. http://t.co/8G3GgBIon1

According to the Business Journal, under the pricing plan unveiled in February seats in the Field Club carry seat-license fees of $9,500 and $400 per-game ticket prices.
The Pioneer Press reports the Vikings split seating from the Dome into 16 zones and invited fans by zone – with the most expensive ticket-holders receiving priority – to pick their new seats.
The company leading the sales efforts for the new stadium, Van Wagner Group, recently completed its exclusive period for Zones 1 and 2 and the company now has opened Club Seat upgrades to all season-ticket holders.
According to MPR News, Marcus Genzlinger bought some of those seats. His family has held Vikings season tickets since the team was founded in 1961. He purchased four tickets in the Vahalla Club with $28,000 in seat licenses.
“I think it was a shock because the model that currently existed was disappearing, and suddenly, you’re having to pay for a new model,” Genzlinger told MPR. “But again, going back, reviewing the experience, the upgrades they were providing, I think it made me realize that there’s another way to look at it, and that was positively.”
The new stadium will have about 62,000 seats, not included in suites. About 50,000 of those seats will require the one-time purchase of the SBL. The average cost of the SBL’s is $2,500.
The SBLs are expected to generate $125 million in gross revenue, the Business Journal reports. Net proceeds of around $100 million will go toward the Vikings’ $477 million portion of the stadium’s cost.
According to the Pioneer Press, suites in the new stadium will cost between $110,000-$500,000 per season, including food and drinks.
