Randy Moss makes his return to Minnesota Sunday when the Vikings host the 49ers. ”I’m just very fortunate to go back where it all started at. We had some great times in Minnesota,” Moss said after practice Wednesday. ”I’m looking forward to just hearing the Metrodome rock. Now I’m on with the away team and I look forward to a good game.”
Leslie Frazier says he expects a motivated Randy Moss to show up to play. Quoted in the Star Tribune, Frazier says at the age of 35, Moss can “still make some plays.”
In two games with San Francisco, Moss has five catches for 61 yards and one touchdown.
Tuesday, San Francisco coach Jim Harbaugh said Moss was content to be a role player with the team, saying Moss is past being “the guy” and will take on any role with the team.
