Randy Moss sent a ripple through news rooms last week when he refused to rule out a possible comeback.
Those ripples are now waves after he announced during Sunday’s FOX NFL pregame show that he still has the itch to play.

“I actually have not lost the itch,” Moss said. “I’ve been working out with a few guys over the offseason. I have been retired for the last two years, but you never know, Curt. But it’s the love of the game that I still have inside of me.”
Moss last played for the 49ers in 2012. He caught 28 passes for 434 yards and 3 touchdowns.
If Moss does come back, which team could he play for?
What if Randy Moss pulls a Brett Favre and signs with Green Bay?

Pro Football Talk notes that Carolina and Green Bay have a sudden need for help at wide receiver after star players Kelvin Benjamin and Jordy Nelson suffered knee injuries. Benjamin is out for the season and Nelson appears to be done for the year, too.
The Patriots also appear to be interested in signing a veteran receiver as the team seems interested in signing longtime Indianapolis leading receiver Reggie Wayne.
Moss spent the first half of his career with the Vikings, who drafted him 21st overall in 1998. Since then he’s racked up 156 touchdown receptions.
