It was a Hall of Fame response to a Hall of Fame snub.
Jack Morris tells the Pioneer Press says he’s “disappointed” for not getting into Cooperstown yesterday (no one did this year, as illustrated by the New York Times).
But the St. Paul native isn’t giving up hope, even after being denied 14 times, with one year of eligibility left.
In his words: “To me, it’s scoreless in the 14th … and I just told the manager I have one more inning in me.”
