The Minnesota Gophers men’s basketball team won their second exhibition game of the week, as they beat Southwest Minnesota State 81-64 Friday night at ‘The Barn.’
Carlos Morris led the Gophers with 23. Nate Mason added 14 points, seven rebounds and seven assists. Joey King knocked down five threes and finished with 17 points.
Mitch Weg had a double-double for Southwest. He finished with 14 points and 12 boards.
The Mustangs had cut the Gopher lead to four at 47-43, but Minnesota opened it up with a big run early in the second half.
