Mohamed Ibrahim will return to the Minnesota Golden Gopher football team in 2021 as the star running back announced his decision on his Twitter account on Monday afternoon.

In the post, Ibrahim thanked the program and his teammates for the individual success he’s had before announcing he plans on returning and getting his degree next season.
Ibrahim’s return will be a huge boost for the Gopher offense as he ran for 1,076 yards and 15 touchdowns in seven games this past season. His performance made him a third-team All-American and should elevate his status as one of the top running backs in the Big Ten next year.
With Tanner Morgan likely to return and the addition of transfer wide receivers Dylan Wright and Jamayre Joiner, the Gophers should have the playmakers needed to contend in the Big Ten West next season.
