Gopher men defeat Ohio State 6-2
Travis Boyd recorded his first career hat trick as the Gopher men’s hockey team beat Ohio State 6-2 to complete a weekend sweep.
Boyd now leads Minnesota (14-9-3, 5-2-3-0 Big Ten) with 13 goals this season. Sam Warning and Seth Ambroz each had a career-high three assists.
Adam Wilcox stopped 16 shots Saturday as Minnesota outshot Ohio State 28-18. Full recap here.

No. 2 Minnesota scored three unanswered goals in a 3-1 win and earn a series split on the road at No. 8 North Dakota Saturday afternoon.
