Alex Stalock has agreed to a three-year contract extension with the Minnesota Wild.
The club announced Tuesday that the deal for the St. Paul native is worth $2.355 million with an average annual value of $785,000. The extension keeps him signed with the Wild through the 2021-22 season.
Stalock has been the backup goalie to Devan Dubnyk for the past three seasons and is 17-16-4 with a 2.80 goals-against average in 35 career starts with the Wild.
The 31 year old is 6-5 with a 2.92 goals-against average and .894 save percentage in 10 starts (14 games total) this season.
Stalock as an All-American at the University of Minnesota-Duluth (2006-09) and was a fourth-round draft pick of the San Jose Sharks in 2005.
Dubnyk is signed through 2021 so the Wild are set are goalie for this season and the following two years.
