Minneapolis will host the 2022 NCAA women’s basketball Final Four at Target Center, the NCAA announced Monday.
San Antonio (2021, Dallas (2023) and Cleveland (2024) were also named as future Final Four hosts. For Minneapolis, the Final Four will return for the first time since 1995 when the University of Connecticut won the first of its record 11 national championships under head coach Geno Auriemma.

Also, let’s be honest: with Lindsay Whalen coaching the Gophers there’s probably a decent chance Minnesota is good enough to compete for a spot in the Final Four 2022.
Tampa Bay is hosting the 2019 Final Four and New Orleans will host it in 2020.
Target Center is hosting the women’s NCAA volleyball Final Four this season.
