Happy birthday, Mike Zimmer, and welcome back to the Vikings.
The 61-year-old head coach got the thumbs up from doctors to resume coaching after missing the last two weeks while recovering from his latest eye surgery.

Zimmer missed the first six practices of Organized Team Activities while resting at his home in Kentucky. His latest surgery was the eighth on his right eye since undergoing emergency surgery to repair a detached retina last November.
Zimmer and the Vikings will hold OTA’s today through Thursday and then report for mandatory minicamp June 13-15.
