Burgers on the grill is a go-to in the summer.
They don’t usually come quite like Miguel Sano’s entry into a recent best burger contest.
Last weekend the Minnesota Twins and Budweiser held a social media contest promoting a few Twins players’ burger recipes. The contest ran June 10-13 and fans were told to comment or tweet the hashtag of which player was most deserving.
The up-and-coming Sano won with the most votes. His recipe: Cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, an over-easy egg and, and a donut for a bun.
Two of the people that voted for Sano will be awarded with two tickets to the Budweiser Roof Deck. Additionally, one winner will be able to have a meet and greet with Sano.
But the real question is, will they get to actually eat this donut-egg burger?
Kurt Suzuki, Trevor May and Tyler Duffey also took part in the challenge. Here’s a video of the grill masters showing off their burgers.
