Miguel Sano homered for the first time since April 25 and Eddie Rosario came up big with a three-run double to help the Twins snap a four-game losing streak, beating the Royals 8-5 Monday night in Kansas City.

“It was good to see Miggy hit one over the fence,” manager Paul Molitor said, via TwinsBaseball.com. “It had been a while since we’d seen that.”
Sano returned from a nearly month-long stay on the disabled list on Friday and was 1-for-12 before his home run.
Leading 3-2 in the eighth, Eddie Rosario poked a soft liner barely into the outfield grass in right-center-field and turned it into a bases-clearing double to break the game open.
Rosario leads the Twins in batting average (.297), home runs (9), RBI (32), hits (57), runs (30) and stolen bases (5).
